How ABI Analytics collects, uses, and protects your data — including Google Analytics connections.

Last updated July 5, 2026

ABI Analytics ("ABI," "we," "us," or "our") is an analytics platform that helps users connect data sources, analyze information, and generate insights. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our analytics platform and related services (the "Service").

Information we collect

We collect information in the following categories:

Account information

Information you provide when you create or access your account, including your name, email address, organization details, and account information required to provide access to the Service.

Database connection information

Information required to establish authorized connections between ABI and your selected data sources.

Access permissions depend on the configuration provided by the user and the permissions granted to ABI.

Database metadata

Information about the structure of connected data sources, such as tables, columns, data types, relationships, and metadata provided to help ABI understand your data model.

ABI does not store copies of your database records or raw table contents as part of its standard operation.

Google Analytics 4 data

When you connect a Google Analytics property through Google OAuth, ABI receives permission to access analytics information required to provide reporting and analytics functionality.

This may include:

  • Google Analytics property information
  • Reporting metrics
  • Analytics information required to generate insights and reports

ABI only accesses Google Analytics data necessary to provide the Service and only on behalf of the user who authorizes the connection.

Usage and technical data

Information collected when you use the Service, including logs, device and browser information, IP address, and interactions with the Service to maintain security, improve performance, and enhance user experience.

How we use your information

We use collected information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Authenticate users and manage accounts
  • Connect authorized data sources and analytics services
  • Generate reports, visualizations, insights, and AI-assisted responses
  • Improve product functionality, reliability, and security
  • Respond to support requests and communicate about the Service
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information or Google user data.

We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes.

AI and analytics processing

ABI uses artificial intelligence and analytics technologies to help users analyze connected data sources and generate insights, reports, and responses.

AI-generated results are provided to assist users in understanding their data. Users are responsible for reviewing results before making business decisions based on them.

ABI does not use customer data, database content, or Google Analytics data to train publicly available AI models or make such information available to other customers.

Connected databases

When you connect a database, ABI uses the connection to provide analytics functionality requested by authorized users.

ABI may process information about the structure of connected data sources to understand the data model and generate reports, answers, and visualizations.

ABI does not store copies of your database records or raw table contents as part of its standard operation.

When you request information from a connected data source, ABI may process authorized queries to provide results within the Service.

Google OAuth and third-party services

If you connect Google Analytics 4, you authorize ABI to access your Google account data through Google OAuth.

The permissions requested by ABI are limited to what is necessary to provide analytics functionality, including accessing Google Analytics properties and reporting information.

You can revoke ABI's access at any time through your Google Account permissions page or by disconnecting the integration inside ABI.

ABI's use of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

ABI may also integrate with third-party services. Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Data retention and deletion

We retain account information, connection settings, and related metadata only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes.

ABI does not retain database row data as part of its standard operation.

You may request deletion of your account and associated information by contacting [email protected].

When you disconnect a data source, ABI stops accessing that source and handles related information according to applicable retention practices.

Security

We are committed to protecting information processed through ABI Analytics and maintaining the security of the Service.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to safeguard information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or misuse, including protecting data in transit and limiting access to authorized systems and personnel.

We regularly review and improve our security practices as part of operating the Service. You can also help protect your account by keeping your credentials confidential and using strong authentication practices.

If you have questions about how we protect your information, contact us at [email protected].

Sharing of information

ABI does not sell, rent, or share personal information or customer data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

We may use trusted service providers that help us operate the Service, such as hosting and infrastructure providers. These providers are expected to protect information and use it only for providing services to ABI.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of ABI, our users, or others.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information.

To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected].

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

When changes are made, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the Service or by email.
